As a Cinco player i would just like to say thank you to all the Cinco fans. And a special thank you to the katy fans who stuck up for our team on this board and supported us in the stands throughout the season. It was awesome to see the the support (especially this past saturday) of not only those directly involved in our program but also the amount of red in the bleachers. Again thank y'all for the support and good luck Tigers-bring one back to 18-5A.

Also good luck to Pearland. You guys played an awesome game and i hope y'all beat cy-fair.

Nice first post... Maybe this past weekend was the start of something special between our two schools... I was proud to be a Cougar fan Saturday... You guys had a character check and passed with flying colors, I don't care what the final score was... Welcome to the other side...

Build upon that foundation, get your fans more involved and work hard this spring to prepare for next year... Just not too hard, if you know what I mean...;)

Hold your heads high, you guys played a heck of a game. I'm sure this was the first of many playoff runs for the Cougars. It was a pleasure to cheer you guys on and will be there for you in the future ( except when you play Katy)

We all wanted you to win that game. On that day, we were all together, from the same community, cheering for the Cougars.
I noticed alot of Cougar fans that stayed for our game as well.

Great season Cinco and thanks for making 18-5A more respectable. I think that game brought many people together and it was long overdue.

it was fun having a good team to follow this year...too bad it was the year after i left haha...now i think we can all pull for katy to bring home the gold in d2!

As a Katy alum that lives in Cinco, this was/is a great year for Katy. Having 2 teams go deep into the playoffs just shows all the other Texas football fans how GREAT Katy truly is. I'm proud of the Cinco players, and I know some of them, what they did in the second half was awesome. Hold your heads high, you have just learned an important lesson that Katy learned some years ago, which is NEVER, NEVER, NEVER GIVE UP! and NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE THE HEART OF A CHAMPION! You did us, Katy, very proud!

I hope everyone knows that there are gonna be two power houses in kisd and in the years to come if you are playing cinco or katy then you kno its goin down

I think Cinco's program is only going to go up in the years. In no way do I see a decline in their program; which will make a very VERY competitive district. Wait till Morton Ranch and Seven Lakes gets good. (that will be about 7-10 years though)

hey y'all cinco people!!!! y'all showed ur true strength in the second half of that game to come back from 21 point loss and then tie it up and then take the lead!!!! everyone knows that katy is expected to win but yes we know what it is like to lose!!! so take it from us, hold ur heads high and never give up!!!! the strength of a team is in the heart of the players!!! y'all proved everyone wrong and made it farther than ever before. so i expect to see many good things in the years to come!!! i guess the guys at katy are going to have to practice a lot harder come the cinco game next year!!! just make sure y'all cinco people make an appearence and support katy in the play offs on sat!!!!:D

i agree about Seven Lakes, but Morton Ranch was the worst coached team that i have seen this year. I don't see them going anywhere with thier present coach. How does KISD fire the guy?

At the end of the Cinco game last week, I wanted so much to go on the field to let Cinco kids how proud of was to be able to come cheer for them. They were quite emotional at that moment. They had layed it all out...and came up short.
To be honest I heard some Cinco side more critical of themselves than I thought I would...Gee, not only do you come across as hard on us at times, but also on yourselves.:(
I saw no shortcomings...just a bunch of young men grow up some right in front of me.
I did appreciate the encouragement from Cinco folks as we traded seats.:)

Great run guys - 7 years in and you're playing in December!

It was so sad to see that fine team that Cinco had two years ago just collapse after playing us. The Katy game is just a very difficult district game - not the whole season, I think you guys realized that this year.

I suspect that first taste of December football has left the younger players wanting more - and more there will be.
