Interesting since SLC has the top rated offense in the state and has one of the top rated defenses. Allen has a good offense and a defense that can get only a couple of stops a game. I think you would be hard pressed to say that Allens offense is much more dangerous than SLC, but you might know something that I do not.

no im not a allen fan . i am a tyler lee fan. but, i saw allen plaky twice and made the drive to the 3rd round game vs round rock. i think they willl beat carroll. plus i am pulling for allen to do so.i have seen carrol play also but allen offense is to much and the qb is the differense maker. allen qb is more dangerous tha carroll's.

If SLC and Allen were to play it is a given that Nathan Dick will have a better game this year. Not much that he couldn't improve upon. I believe Allen had zero first downs in the first half and the backup Allen QB moved the team better in 3rd and 4th qtr. garbage time than he did.

Actually, the back up didn't come in until the last two drives. He scored both times AND most of the SLC guys in there were 1st stringers.(I looked 'em on in the program.)

Concur about the PT of the backup. Don't recall that he got both the TDs - not disagreeing, just don't remember.

Even though the N. Dick led offense was a bust last year, didn't he get lots of PT in the '04 game due to an injury to C. Dick? If so, he was probably part of that amazing string of eight straight 3rd and long conversions that kept Allen in the game in the first half.
