I'd like to single out praise for Pearland's Foswhitt Whittaker. Once Proctor ran in the winning score during OT of their game against Cinco, the entire Pearland team celebrated the score and win except for Fozzy.
Whittaker went over and tried to help pick up and console Cinco players that stayed in the endzone after the score and some were laying down on the turf. Fozzy went over to quite a few to offer encouragement.
I was very impressed with that sportsmanlike gesture from Fozzy and it was great to see after an entertaining game.
Good game to both Pearland and Cinco. Hats off to Fozzy for his running and selfless act after the game.

Thanks for that info - I'm a huge fan of the Fozz now!
Yeah I noticed that too....GREAT GAME....Cinco has nothing to be ashamed about. Good Luck Pearland against Cy-Fair. Katy/Falls Pearland/Fair should have been a double header...two great games, I hate I have to miss one.

Yes he seemed quite polite @ the NS game as well. He shared a hug w/ NS's Marcus Jones @ the start of the half.

When he went out to the center of the field for the OT coin toss, the jumbotron had a closeup of him in a conversation with an official. He had a big smile on his face and it was obvious they were sharing a joke or something. I thought at the time he must have a great maturity about him to be able to step out of character like that and then refocus to play football. Kinda like NFL players do ........ He reminded me of Vince Young in that regard.

He was fun to watch even though I was cheering for Cinco. It's good to see athlete's with heart. He represents his team well. :)
