Well I'm out for the weekend. I'm leaving for Lubbock and I would like to wish the Permian and and Carroll fans safe travels. Here's to a safe and well played football game tommorow afternoon. Hopefully its a good one.

A road trip for a game is always a beautiful thing!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll have to wait for a quick trip tomorrow.

After work,,,headed to Abilene to watch CH vs Monterrey, get a room, get up and go to Lubbock for the SLC-Permian game. Greatness!

For anyone looking for the best Steak around Lubbock, Try Cagles.

It is about 4 miles west of Lubbock on 4th street( like you're going out to the old Reese AFB. It is on the North side of the road in an old farmhouse about 200 yards off of the main road. It is very nice, don't get the wrong idea. You won't be sorry you went. you just order it by how thick you want it. YUM YUM!!!!

I will testify! My favorite place in Lubbock. Just don't order the BBQ.

For those looking for great food in Abilene go to Joe Allen's....has to be the greatest establishment on the planet. For those not in the know, it is on South 11th street (directly west of Shotwell Stadium, less than a mile I'd say) just before the intersection of Treadaway and South 11th. Great food, great environment and I'm sure they'll appreciate the business. Prices are great but get there early if you want to have time to eat and watch the game.
