Trinity avenges a 56-32 loss from last year with a 63-34 win this year in Bedford,Texas at Pennington Field tonight. It was a close game in the beginning with a early td pass from dimitri nance then back with some trickery from midland lee with a reverse pass for a td. At halftime the score was 56-20. The Trojans kept putting it on Rebels and ran over them with a couple of strong RB's, Nance and Handy and a cannon of an arm from QB Vittatoe. Also with a powerful defense shutting down the Rebels RB.

That was the longest first quarter I have ever witnessed... the score was 14-7 a minute 30 into the game....

I agree with you that 1st quarter seemed liked eternity. Folks we had 606 yards of total offense tonight. Our back Nance had 210 yards. We have and I would argue the 2 best or 1 - 2 punch of running backs in the state. The score tonight could have been 100 plus if Lineweaver would have left the starters in. The back from Midland Lee had 205 and most of that was against a mostly JV defense. I may sound excited about our kids here at Trinity and I am. I'm not predicting wins, but when the Trojans come to town with the HAKA chant teams better be ready.

Euless will go 10 - 0 into the play-offs, I bet they win the DI state championship

The Haka chant was awesome to watch...

and Trent Hines was great as well... #33 for Midland Lee for those that dont know... :D He had some great runs here and there, but didnt look like he could get things going.. should have a great year though...

Good luck to Midland Lee in future games and I hope to see more wins for Trinity in the near future...

Who does ET play next?

i know in two weeks its third meeting in two years between Tyler Lee and Euless Trinity

Trinity beat Tyler lee in the regular season, but Tyler Lee beat Euless In the state semi-final...it should be a grudge match, may be a preview of the state semi-final again?

Saw the highlights on Fox. Trinity looked very big and very fast.

Trinity definitly has the Offense to carry them very far, but they still need a lot of work on defense... too many times the safety bit down on a fake and let a reciever blow right by him....

the team really improved their PAT... alot better than last week when they missed every attempt at extra point!

Trinity has an off week this week. That gives us a little break before Tyler Lee and then the 23rd we start district. Our defense can stand some tweaking. We faced Hines last night now we have the kid from Tyler , Moody, Watkins, Evans, back to back to back. They will hopefully stop a couple of these cats. Thse teams though seem one dimensional. Don't really know much about them Evans ran pretty good on us last year ans Ross from Tyler killed us in the playoffs. This year we have 2 backs that can put 200 plus on folks. Can someone tell me any other team out there that can do that? They only played up to 5 or 6 plays in the 3rd quarter last night and did major damage against Midland Lee. Tyler Lee will be a real test for us. If our kids don't get big headed this will be a real good season. :)
