I too was at the game Waco v. Midland Lee at Shotwell stadium in Abilene, it was so crowded I had to sit w the Waco crowd. They didnt like me telling them they were gonna lose that day and then really didnt like it when it came true. Well Tyler Lee the Trinity Trojans will be there in 2 weeks. Beat Midland Lee tonight 63-34. We only had 606 yards of offense and 1 of our 2 studs had 216 yards. They scored mostly on our JV defense and their stud back had 205 yards. Hope we have a good one we have the week off coming up and good luck to yaw :) .

Waco High made significant strides from week zero to week one, but squandered several golden opportunities against No. 2-ranked Tyler Lee Friday night, falling,21-7, in the Waco ISD Hall of Fame Game.

“First, I've got to congratulate Tyler Lee on its victory, but we definitely were our own worst enemy tonight,” Waco High coach Johnny Tusa said. “We had some critical penalties and we turned the ball over four times, and if I'm not mistaken all of those (actually three) were inside the 30, and three of them were after first downs. We've got to realize two things – one, we can play with anybody, and two, we've got to take care of the football to do it.”
