How can they not be sure? It's a clear decision! 13-28 in 4 seasons. 2006 was the worse season in school history. If yall only knew what is wrong with the Viper program right now. I'm going to email the VISD superintendent my thoughts, etc.

Jerry Campbell is awaiting word from the VISD administration on whether or not he will return to lead the Memorial football program for a fifth season.
Campbell has compiled a 13-28 record in his four seasons at Memorial, including a 1-9 record this season, which was the worst in school history.
"I haven't heard anything," Campbell said this week. "We are going on with our off-season program."
VISD superintendent Bob Moore said Campbell will be evaluated by athletic director Larry Hirt, who will either recommend that Campbell's contract be renewed for another year or that Campbell be relieved of his head-coaching duties.
Hirt was out of town and unavailable for comment.
Moore attended every football game this season. He said he was impressed with the players' resiliency, but disappointed with the Vipers' erratic play.
"I saw the kids had a lot of heart and they didn't quit," Moore said. "The big thing was we didn't see any consistency throughout the season or throughout games. There were flashes here and there, but no consistency."
The Vipers were picked to win the District 27-5A title by the league's coaches, but Memorial won only one district game and narrowly avoided a winless season. The Vipers needed a last-minute touchdown drive to beat last-place San Antonio Highlands 27-22.
"I believe in continuous improvement in all of our programs and that's what I'll be looking for in football," Moore said. "And when you have a 1-9 record, you have room for continuous improvement."
