This is kind of an open ended question. Cause RBs have so many diverse talents, it's hard to say which one is better than the other. And you see alot of different runners putting up gaudy numbers with both good and bad teams.

He is a good one, but for my money 2 others stand out.

Bradley Stephen
Devin Thomas

I like Wright, no doubt, but I like Devin Thomas better, Bigger, Stronger and Faster. Again not knocking Wright he is very good, but you asked and I am telling you who I like.

My bro really liked Wright yesterday and this was his first time seeing Wright play. We saw Stephens in the HEB classic against Victoria and were not impressed and the Vipers sucked lol

I guess we'll see when they play Mac

If we gave Bron Hager that many touches a game, he would put up simliar if not better numbers, I'm sure anyone who watched him against Jay, Churchill, or Seguin can attest to that.

Heres my top 3.

1. Sam Mcguffie- Only a junior, leads Houston with 2600+ yards and could possibly hit 3000 mark. Has 4.3 speed.

2. Fozzy Whittaker- Amazing combination of power and speed.

3. Bradley Stephens- Heard a lot about him, never saw his action in person but I know his abilities and capabilities.

I think that Bron would kill this guy.

Note: Definitely biased so don't tell me that I'm biased, I already know that.

Stephens has over 2300+ yds at this point according to my valley friends so I think his stats are up with the best. Career wise no one mentioned can touch him as he has over 7700+ career yds.

Just to let ya'll know a little bit more about Stephens, he's about 5'11 200lbs and was timed at 4.41 in the 40 US Army Combine in SanAntonio AS A SOPHMORE!!!! I dont know how big or fast these other RBs are, but Size and Speed have ALOT to do with WHO IS BEST

It is rumored that he has run a 4.34 40 as a Sr. the funny thing about that rumor is that its DaveCampbells football magazine that started it....

Bradly Stephens is the best in SouthTexas, probably up there aswell as the best in the STATE

Wright and Stephens are probably the best. The kid from SA Lee is pretty good too.

As a Westlake homer I'll have to say that the Chaps have the most depth and playmakers in their backfield. Bron Hager has really stepped up his game in the playoffs. Max Minor was their leading rusher in the regular season and is now healthy. Soph. Ryan Swope had two 100 yd games and averages over 10 yds. a carry and is now starting on defense where he's made two int's in three games. Jr. Jordan Etier came into the backfield vs. Churchill from his WR spot to gain 120+ yds. And Jr. Brad Dornak has played very well with increased playing time in the playoffs. These guys are really playing great as a unit.

Devin Thomas no doubt he even proved it when the Mavs played Reagan when he set the sity rushing record w/ 487 yards on 28 carries. Wright is a greeat one too but Thomas is the Read Deal.

Wright was a none factor in Reagan's loss to Mac - a game in which Craig scored 3 or 4 times. :D

I would say Jr RB Aundre Dean from Katy because he only played one half in most games this season and still racked up 150-200 yards a game.

I'm sure the RBs for Mac and Reagan are good, but I WONDER what Bradly Stephens COULD'VE DONE if he had those OLines?!?!!

He's going to need those O-Lines. Mac is relentless against weak protection for opposing QBs and RBs.

Thats why i think Mac will win, because of McAllens' WEAK OLine.... not because of Bradly or Bunger

I love Marcus. My new hero.

But he's more a HS back. I think it'll be tough for him at the college level. I hope he proves me wrong though.

There were some in my area of the stands that were thinking about him replacing Mighty Joe for a while.

Can't say Mighty Joe's play made me disagree.

Yeah because he might not break the top 10 in region III :D with McGuffie, Whittaker, Harper, Lewis, Ganious, Walker, Gibson...not even close for whoever your talking about.
