prediction for this week's game is as follows:
Why Bell will win-Bell's offense has been revamped to a spread formation from an option oriented atttack. Mauro will take controls with a chance to show his potential. The defense looks solid. Defensive End Kyle LeGrand was injured in the Martin scrimmage but the depth at end is very solid. Last year the result of the Bell-Bowie game was 52-28 Bell. This is with an offense that ranked second to last in 6-5A
Why Bowie will win-two words:Sherrod Harris. he must carry his team to victory in order to even his team's record. This is a challenging task since Bowie did not win a game last year. If the defense can control Bell's offense and get past Bell's defense. Straight and simple.
Why Bell will lose-TURNOVERS. As with any pass first offense there will be interceptions. Mauro has to have time give to him by his offenseive line. Also recievers will occasionaly fumble on big hits but i dont think this should be a problem.
Why Bowie will lose-Lack of talent and depth. The only star that this team has is Sherrod Harris.. Other than that I dont see a bright spot in this team
