This was definitely a year of ups and downs. JT's biggest problem was they could never build any sustained consistentcy. It was a very tough year and showed again the program is still not to the point to where it was. There are good things to still consider but JT has to continue to move on. The good thing is we made the playoffs and Hunter broke Earl Campbell's record. My hat off to carter for playing a very good game. Ya'll deserved to win. It was shocking to see Hunter fumble twice in a row. JT will be better next year. JT's JV tied Longview for district title so JT is not hurting for talent. I know the coaches and players are EXTREMELY disappointed but that how it is sometimes. Congrats JT for hanging in there. This fan will always be there to support ya'll win or lose. Good luck to everybody else in 12-5A. CUJO will return next year and will mix it up again. JT returns around 8 or 10 starters and, depending on mind set, could be better than this year's.

Good year JT - I think you're still on the road back. Is Hunter a senior?

Is Hunter a senior?

We sure hope so! :)

I agree. I think John Tyler had a good year despite their record. They played a brutal schedule so it just figured that they would get the toughest of the four teams from 11-5A in the first round. John Tyler sure man-handled us in week 10 - the game was never in question.

Cujo is on the right track - it usually takes some time to learn how to win big games again. I would fear the Lions next year...

I know you probably won't believe this but I was pulling for JT all the way... I was dissapointed when I found that you lost. I hate to see you guys go...you had a very good team and your record was in no way an indication of the type of team you had. Good luck next season... of course, except against the Lobos.
