Congratulations to the #17 Colorado, # 6 UT, and # 13 Texas A&M women's soccer teams for making the NCAA tournament and representing the Big XII well. All three teams made it to the Sweet Sixteen Round! Colorado was eliminated by #1 Notre Dame, but Texas A&M takes out Virginia 2-1 to advance to the Elite Eight and I don't have any results for Texas vs. #7 Portland.
Again, congratulations to all three teams for continuing a Big XII tradition of excellence in women's soccer!

My girlfriend plays soccer...so STF^. Just because you don't care doesn't mean that others don't. Why the hell do people post in threads on topics they don't care about?

Texas down 1 - 0 at halftime. They are leading shots on goal 10 - 2 though, so they've had plenty of scoring chances.

Texas ended up losing 2 - 0 I believe.

Final Standings:
A&M went down to #1 UNC(who they beat at home in the season opener) in the Elite Eight, 3-2.
Texas Went down to #7 Portland I think 2-0 in the Sweet Sixteen.
Colorado lost to then-#1 ND in the first round.
Well done to all three teams!

My UNT girls entered the last weekend of the season 15-2-2 and lost to MTSU and Denver to close out the regular season. They were the 3rd seed going into the sun belt tourney and defeated Middle Tennessee State to advance to the championship where they fell victim to Denver 4-0  Costing them a birth in the NCAA's.
Our girls were very young this year starting maybe 1 senior and they have another excellent recruting class coming in for next fall. We may not have much in our athletic program right now but girls soccer remains consistant at least.
