So, as much as I have repetitively questioned Churchill has a team this year (and I still do) and despite being a 25-5a guy and wanting 25-5a to do well in the playoffs to prove we have some pretty good teams..... I am probably going to be pulling for Churchill tommorow.
Bottom line is, I am a Seguin Matadors fan first. I may be looking too far down the road this early in the playoffs but I can't help my self... I am a long term thinker. This is how I see it.....
Westlake wins... we make a run in the playoffs... we have to play Westlake again. Westlake is a REALLY tough team to play because of their offense. It is hard to beat a team like Westlake twice in a season... so yeah, I pretty much don't want to deal with that.
Churchill wins.... we make a run in the playoffs.... we play Churchill for the region championship... I don't think Churchill matches up with us well.
I guess that makes me a bad fan to the 25-5a to an extent but as much as I have endorsed Westlake and questioned Churchilll....
Lets go Churchill. hahaha

I say go Seguin and Westlake. If we both make it back to have to play again then Seguin will just have to play harder and smarter. There is no easy path to the top. The better the teams you beat only makes you better. Look at all the teams in the top ten. Year in and out the same ones are there. So are they paying off some one or did they just muscle in to get there? I don't know what kind of tallent Seguin has for the future, But they do seem to have a coach that brings it out. If not this year maybe next. So what. As long as we get out of the first two rounds I could be happy. But I want more.:D

SV didnt do so hot pre-playoffs against Westlake, but in the playoffs, they had their way with them. Total domination on both sides of the ball in that game. You might want Westlake again if this is normal.. It could have been masterfull adjusments on Hills part, but if you look at the score difference, I will not even say he is "that" good. Something to think long term on.

Strong point. Damnit. Now I am not sure again. lmao.It is goingto be a game time decision for me. Rematch with WL would be a great game and I do not doubt we could win it. I just think Churchill would be easier. But, suppose we do somehow make a deep run... playing a team with Westlake's O would better prepare us for a team like SL. Also, if we get that far to play Westlake or Churchill then I believe our team will be playing on an even much higher level than now.

I'll give you my .02 and you can take it for what it's worth. Westlake has a tremendous offense, but they struggled against the other 3 teams that made the playoffs from 25-5A. You want to play them because from my corner without going to their games, it looks like they're bullies that beat up on 98 pound weaklings, but have a hard time in a fair fight. Now saying that, I don't think they'll beat Churchill. We'll have a great idea about future 25-26 matchups in Week 14 after this week.

I darn well hope so.
It doesn't matter to me who we play as long as we have one more point than they do at the end of the game. :)

Just remember that you played Westlake with a banged up defense.

Talking about Regional finals already; better worry about Reagan 1st, then O,Connor who is just as hungry as Seguin to advance, but past the 2nd round.

True. But wait! I don't coach or play for Seguin! ;)
