So many idiots in this world, and they all affect my favorite team. I'm not saying this one guy caused us to be ranked lower than intended, I'm just amazed at the lack of knowledge on these voters. The guy asks around and uses "I think they lost..." information to vote. Pathetic.

And some of you guys wonder why I don't put stock in what the sports media says. These guys are paid to do a good job. That doesn't mean they're actually doing a good job. People always want to bust Peter Vecsey's (New York Post basketball writer) chops for stealing somebody else's story and reporting it himself, but at least he knows where to go to steal stories.

I can't believe that moron didn't go to any of the millions of places that had real-time scores to find out the score. I dig up high school scores and he can't even get college.

I'd bet $5 I can find a score for that Oklahoma game in 2 min. or less, and I neither:
1. Go to OU
2. Am a Media Sports "Professional"

Not only does it make no sense whatsoever that he "couldnt find the OU score," but all media outlets have access to the AP database, which i am quite sure had the score updated regularly and probably a story behind it once the game was finished. I am not quite sure who hired this guy or where he graduated from to deserve that job but all i can say is that i am glad he works in louisiana.

How hard is it to check the ESPN scoreboard online. Good grief...you can't find the score so you just ask around.....

Is this the same Bozo that said Tech should have run more against Texas, and shouldn't have tried to run up the score? Probably his brother.

Borat the Sports Reporter.

While this was an incredibly stupid mistake... I just wonder how many SID's errrr, coaches do this same thing every week in the coaches poll? And I doubt the 9 points they lost from his mistake is going to keep them from going to the BCS... oh wait, the BCS formula doesn't even use the AP poll any more, so what's really the point of it anymore?

The coaches minions are also known to vote down teams in other conferences or like the Stoops, vote their brother up.
