MaxPreps.com is conducting a poll on which metro area is producing the best
prep talent--here's the results so far:
Los Angeles:40%
DFW:22%
Miami/Fort Lauderdale:16%
Cincinnati:14%
Houston:9%

Hah, what a cowinkydink. I heard a short discussion on the radio tonight about this topic. They said the DFW area was the hotbed for college recruiting in regards to populated cities. Of course it was a Dallas radio station so there was probably some bias.

DFW is a hotbed based on population in Texas at least.
Nationally, based on population and No. of HS of football players, the metro Washington DC area puts out mpre than its fair share.
