Panthers open up this week-let's see if they can live up to the promise of
an unbeaten JV & 3rd place finish at the A&M 7-on-7,but containing Jerell
Norton won't be an easy task! How will this end up?

the third place at tamu promises only that the first game of the year will be between ch and ch, nothing else. there is little/no correlation betwwen 7on7 success and fall ball success.

Cedar Hill, I still think Heritage is over rated. That 3rd place 7 on 7 finish doesn't say much, because now contact is allowed and running pass plays over the middle doesn't sound so fun and easy anymore.

Lamar(a tight end run the ball first team) beat Carroll 44-19 or something like that in 7 on 7 but in a game Lamar wouldn't be able to pull that off.

i personally would love to see them try. i know a few lbs and safeties who would too.

The good news for Heritage is that unlike years before, the offense used in 7vs7 will actually be used during the season. However, keeping Cedar Hill's QB inside the tackles will be the challenge.

Didnt tyler lee win the 7 on 7 and state champ. in the same year, i see some corolation there

I think Heritage is very underrated, they had a great JV team, and have a great QB...they have alot to prove after this off season

there is a higher correlation with state 7on7 title winners and not making the playoffs i believe. the only winners repeating was celina where they won regardless and tlee. it just hasn't been a great indicator.

Who are some of the starters on the heritage team? I haven't heard much of them. How are they supposed to be? stengths/weaknesses?
