Mohawks... cool or not?

I feel like Seguin is sort of ripping Southlake (bleach blonde) and Chad Johnson (lil Frohawk) but word is a lot of our players are getting Mohawks for the playoffs. I know our starting RB already did. Cool or not?

They are coming back like it or not.........My son wants one and I asked him why....he said Chad Johnson has one....so does Bobby Reid from Oklahoma State. we were at the barber shop last week and a guy(hispanic guy) was in there and both of his sons(maybe 6 or 7 years old) were getting mohawks....I asked did they play football he said no...all the kids just want them now.

alot of our players are getting them too. seems like the general opinion at our school is the guys who are cool make the mohawk cool, and the guys who arent make it look stupid.

My twin brother and I had mohawks many years ago when we were about 7 or 8 years old. We certainly thought it was cool. Of course that was in the early 60s....

The helmets nowadays are much better, and appear to be more comfortable than what we had in the 80's. I know my head would not have felt good bare inside the helmet. What do today's helmets feel like with no hair?

i personally think that mohawks are probably not the best fashion statement, but if the players want to show solidarity and focus on themselves as teammates more power to them. Oh by the way, my son got his mohawk tonight.:eek:

Not much different than with hair is what I am told. I know they do not leave those big blocks imprinted on their head anymore. I know the helmets you are talking about. They would have hurt I am sure. The new ones are more of a memory foam material spread throughout the helmets surface. Very comfortable.

Mac's basketball team is supposedly getting the same pair of blue and white shoes for the season. :rolleyes:
