IKE is playing at Lufkin, I don't think an upset will happen there.

Upsets only occur when they're not expected!! That's why I picked Ike to upset Lufkin.

i think the SLC-Coppell game, will be good the first quater, maybe into the 2nd, but by the 3rd q, this game will lose its luster

I agree...but I think in the 4th Coppell will try and come back...to bring the game within 21...thats going to be my idea all week

IKE over Lufkin? I normally go for my fellow district teams, but IKE doesn't have a chance. They are going to get pummelled and come limping back to Houston.

You can never go wrong with the Oak Cliff Super Bowl: Dallas Carter vs Dallas Kimball.

Carter has won the last three years. How will they bounce back after just getting by Sam Houston 28-25?

Kimball is coming off a 56-0 victory over Houston Sterling in which they only allowed 24 yards of TOTAL offense.

High Powered Running Offense vs Shut Down Defense!!

If LP doesn't get the O going and IKE has decent D this game could be close. I think a upset is unlikely though conisdering IKE prolly won't score.

I don't know about beating JT by 21, they have a stingy D. They will also be playing with alot of confidence coming of a game in which many didn't think they could win. I will interested to see how it turns out. Could JT be 2-0?

i'd put the over/under at about 21 for both the jt-pam and the lp-ike games. maybe added together. too much d and struggling/rebuilding offenses will do that.

Trust me...dont look too far into that shellacking of Sterling....Sterling is like a Plecotomus(Bottom feeder in your fish tank) of HISD(4A). They will have many more nights like that so that's not a good team to cage Kimballs defense...but I could be wrong.

Can it happen? Yes....will it happen? NO. Here is why I think it can happen. Ike beat themselves last week(I even think they had more yardage and first downs)...they know what they have to improve on. This is Lufkins first game of the season...so they are liable to make a few mistakes. But 9 times out of 10.....it wont happen.

:) I like the game here in Euless this week. Midland Lee comes here and despite the whoopin SLC gave them it should be good. If Trinity wins (they have arguably the toughest non district schedule in the state with Tyler Lee in 2 weeks) look out 5A Division 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coppell has a pretty tough Non-District in the Metroplex...#20 Jesuit, #1 SLC, #5 Duncanville...then on to district #4 Trinty #8 Irving Mac, Irving Nimtz, LD Bell, GP, #11 Irving, #16 SGP
