Yea Texas isn't a very good football team, tonight they lost to unranked Kansas State in case any of you didn't hear. And to think there were Texas fans on this board who thought they had a chance at the national championship!!! ROFL!!!!!

Who cares if they lost? Texas is still in the driver's seat like I have been saying all along.

P.S. trust me dude, you could not possibly be laughing harder than I am. It's almost worth a Texas loss just to see the all the weak rodents come out of the shadows to try and nip at the limping beast.

However Texas is not in the drivers seat IMO, Nebraska (regardless of their vicotry over us) is looking for blood when it comes to that near victory over Texas. No ones in the dirvers seat in this one.

The phrase "in the driver's seat", at least in the context I intended, simply means that Texas controls their own fate.

I also appreciate your honesty and class. I hope I will return it at some point.

its all about common sense jtk, me and db06 have enough prior football/school knowlege and common sense to know what a university and a football program are and should be. We dont plan on drinking the coolaid and blindly following collies around, however we will whoop and have fun with what we have, and hoop for the best as far the future (and this rivarly) is regarded

After all the sh!t they throw at the Aggies, I think they deserve a little sh!t flung their way after losing to the hapless Wildcats. Even with McCoy out they should have beaten K-State by 30.

Im glad they lost. If they won, all I would have heard all week is "Wow! They beat Kansas State without their freaking unbelievable quarterback!"

Hell, and I probably will still hear "The only reason they lost is because they didn't have their freaking awesome quarterback!"

They beat Texas Tech and Nebraska by slim margins, and the slim margin came back and bit them this time. Im glad it happened....

o wow texas lost but im still waking up this morning and putting on my longhorns shirt...one loss isnt the end of the world we will be in a fiesta bowl and everyone else will mis out...we will win cuz is boise st what do u expect...smurf turf o we r so scared try playing on green grass we dont care...colt mccoy got hurt the first drive (which was the most successful drives the team had)...colt went 4-4 and took the team 51 yds...
