The formula is quite simple for NS. Keep your head in the game, limit mistakes and "just do it". From what I saw last Friday - this has the potential to be a special team ala 03 caliber - but that was one game and only time will tell.

Hastings played Hightower closer than I expected so I'm not sure what to think. Well, yes I do...North Shore should roll as long as they play a clean game and have the right mindset during preparation this week. Take nothing for granted.

Kt said it. It's early and you take nothing for granted. Yes, I think Shore will get it done but the Alief teams are not considered to be pushovers. If Shore is as good as they appeared against Elsik they should have no trouble. However, as the saying goes on any given day.............

If they come out playing North shore football this one is over by half time. If they stumble a little then Hastings hangs around for a quarter or two. Though in the end it'll be another Mustang win over Hastings.

After reading all the threads re. the NS vs. Elsik game - I have to say that all present at that game have come to the same assessment of NS. This is one HECK of a team. If they keep their heads screwed on right and take care of business one game at a time - we will be looking at a great post-season run. God-willing - if we get to play Westfield again - that will be THE GAME of the year.
I work with alot of folks from the Woodlands and in 03 they did not believe me when I told them how good the 03 NS team was. Well - they found out - didn't they - The hard (hitting) way.

Yes they did tailgater. My uncle works for the City of Conroe so he works with a lot of people who had kids playing Woodlands. He had told them all year tha tif they were to run into North Shore they better be ready for a hell of game. All season the people he worked with doubted us. After the whooping that cold December day many of them said just what many others have said. They had never seen a team that dominate in the lives. They really thought they had a chance against us but by the second quarter most of them realized they had no chance what so ever.
