Not much of a surprise on this one. The first top 10 match-up of the season as far as our rankings are concerned.

#9 CONVERSE JUDSON @ #8 COPPERAS COVE

Judson won last year's meeting 28-14 (not positive on that score).


Analysis will be up by Wednesday.

One thing I noticed is how there were no staff prediction like last season. And also the "other big games" had predictions as well.

In your top 25 you have it the other way around Judson at 9 and cove at 8.

Nope, I’m pretty sure you are going to pick your number 8 over your number 9. Just had to call you out on that typo (being a Judson fan). It’s all good though you’ll be switching them after this Friday. :cool:

The Oak Cliff Super Bowl Carter vs Kimball may be the game of this week in the DISD's new football palace Kincaide Field at the Jesse Owens complex. Only a guess. :confused:

West Monroe vs. Longview is interesting. #1 5a La team vs. #4 5a Tx team. I really think Longveiw should take it...but WM is a great program and take alot of pride in their football. It's hard to say what the score will be b/c I have never seen WM play. It hurts them that this will be their first game. If they make alot of mistakes or have first game jitters it could get out-of-hand. WM also claims to be a second half team. They better play four quarters if they expect to hang with Longview.
