My Predictions
Tyler Lee 38
Waco 21
Our Defensive is not that good because look at Florida making 28 points but I know they have good offense too anyway. Our offense is more powerful than last year but not defense.

That Florida team would score probably 21 pts on anyone in Texas. Except maybe 3 or 4 teams.

I just dont think waco will score more than 14pts and i dont think tyler lee will get them by a 20 pt spread bc waco does have a very nice def. they always do, now if they are organised and can work togher is a dif. story

Could be right... Waco always has some very solid athletes and a pretty sound coaching staff. It should be very interesting and I think it will be another quality game for Tyler Lee to learn and grow from.
Waco is going to show up and play. 100% no doubt about it.

Oh I know waco will be ready to play, I just know from experince playing agianst them that if things start going wrong they fall apart and start blaming each other and stop working togher, if that happens I can see your 20 pt spread happing, but it should be a good game, waco is always a tough one for us

All these kids for Waco are newbies.......they are installing some shotgun ...and tinkered with it this past Friday.......QB threw two interceptions on two good drives........our RB's/OLINE has to improve this week or it will be ugly.

Depends on whether or not those first home game butterflies help or hurt! I predict, with all the new changes, a big REL win ( 42-10). That being said, I think Waco will have it together and be ready for the playoffs! Too much SPEED!

This "should' be the first Tyler Lee win IN Waco against the
Lions.
As a matter of fact, Lee picked up their first win EVER at Waco
ISD Stadium last November vs. Round Rock McNeil.
Lee is 0-2 versus Waco High there and also lost to North Mesquite
in the 2nd round of the 2000 playoffs at that facility.

Here is a look at the team..........
Don't know where Tyler Lee's coaches got 210lbs as the largest OLINE man at Waco? It is smaller than normal.......usually pump an average of close to 300 lbs....but this year they are around 250-260 range.
This is a very young team Waco has and most of them have 0 (Zero) varsity experience.

Just wondering what the biggest STARTER is? There are no weights associated with these pictures, but the O-line coaches look bigger than the kids do even w/their shoulder pads on. They don't look very big in the picture. If you have a copy of a program, I'd like to see it. Otherwise, I'll be at the game tomorrow night. I'll be the one in the red shirt cheering for REL!
lol P/m me if you want a contact number.

So, you beleive that the Florida teams in general are stronger than Texas teams?

What drives? They only had 96 yards in total offense - 43 at halftime. The QB also threw three or four good balls right in the receivers hands and they dropped them. I think that if they get their offense down they will be a very tough team by the time the second season starts!

Waco had a few good drives but killed those with the turnovers......I think the offense will be much improved this week.....it doesn't take long for Tusa to get them going....they do have the talent..they are just YOUNG.
I think that we should swap out DonTay and put him on the OLINE a few snaps....to see what he can do there.

No I dont. I live here in Broward County and have seen several of the so called powerhouse teams from Dade County and they couldnt compete in Texas against the top Texas powers (Tx #1-#20) would crush them.
There are a few public schools in the Tampa area that are salty. There is two powerhouse Private schools in Broward Co. (St. Thomas Aquinas & Hollywood-Chaminade) and there is a powerhouse Private school in Jacksonville (Jacksonville Bolles).
Hollywood-Chaminade is probably a top #4 Florida team this year. (Great coaching, some great athletes and some solid high school kids).
Yes... I think Hollywood-Chaminade could put at least 21 (3 touchdowns) on just about everyone in Texas except maybe a few teams.
I think most of the Texas powers (#1-#20) could put 40 plus points on them (Hollywood-Chaminade).

I totally agree with you on the much improved coming quick. I could tell that the coaching staff has their act together and that there is a load of talent on both sides of the ball. I can tell you this, Clemens has one of the best D-lines in the state and they showed that last Friday night and the fellas behind them (linebackers & secondary) aren't bad either. They will dominate quite a few teams this year! If we can put up 28 points in any game, I like our chance to win it. We'll find out just how good our defense really is tomorrow night against the run with Roosevelt. Good luck against Lee this week, I'll be rooting for the Lions.
