Who will win and why...or who would you want to see win and why?

I say OR in a close one, because if I'm not mistaking, this decides whether or not they make it in the POs. Plus momentum from previous weekend will most likely carry over.

most in 5a.....and from what i have seen most fans also....i nknow some say they dont care but i think they all really want to beat the best in D1.....

I agree. Also a lot of other key factors are resting on this game's outcome. Where Lufkin is going, who the Woodlands will end up playing 1st round, if Conroe will make it in, and if OR will make it in.:eek:

I would just love to see SLC play Lufkin. Even more than the Trinity game.

well out side of maybe SLC fans, most fans dont want to play Lufkin so I guess there are teams in D1 pulling for CP but more in D2 pulling for OR...D2 is just down especially in R1 and R2 so if Lufkin goes D1 someone is going to be very happy

Are ties still allowed? If they tie, they both go D2. CP plays Oak and OR plays KF. Lufkin gets Klein and TWHS gets Westfield.

I'm going to go with Oak Ridge on this one. I think Conroe is going with Oak Ridge too, because I drove by a Conroe coach's house the other day and he was out in his driveway painting a deer blind.

Seriously, Conroe has to be disappointed. They were so excited when the district realignment came out and now they are on the verge of finishing LAST in the district.

Hey Conroe05....when are you going to start the "just wait until next year" thread?

If the CP QB isn't completely healed from his injury, I really expect Oak Ridge to win this one. That offense is really dependent on a QB that knows what he's doing.

Should be fun!:D

A tie won't do either team any good. It would come down to positive points and Conroe still slides in the back door.

Nope there has to be a winner.

I know the conventional wisdom from a lot of posters is for OR to win and bump Lufkin up to D I. However, I don't see it happening. I don't think this game is as evenly matched as folks think.

I say CP wins and it won't even be close.

I think someone posted on another thread that Coach Carson said on the radio that Hay will be ready to go this Friday. From what I heard the OR QB is still questionable courtesy of AJ Penson. :eek:

Yes, the players and their Dad's are hoping for the same. Go OR! We want to see "the game". Go Pack!
