Baylor coach Guy Morriss' promise to score 75 points on Tech if the Bears ever get the chance didn't seem to bother Tech coach Mike Leach when he was asked Monday about Morriss's remark.
"I think under the best circumstances, football's frustrating,'' Leach said. "All teams want to do well.
Tech beat Baylor 55-21 Saturday. Late in the game, a video review reversed a play on the field and gave the Tech defense a fumble recovery.
Morriss said he wasn't bothered by the review, but added: "If the day ever comes, we're going to try to hang 75 on their ***. I guarantee you that.''
Leach said Monday he didn't take offense to Morriss's remark.
"I don't get offended by very much,'' he said.
Looks like Morriss is setting the bar pretty high. It would just barely double the Bears' point production against Tech for the new millenium if he pulls it off.

Morriss was speaking up for that CJ Heisman dude.
Can you imagine the look on Leach's face - lol - he's like, whatever...who did we play last week - Baylor? OK, thanks. I'm not offended, I'm a pirate for crying out loud.

The announcers thought they did and the ref said it was a coach's challenge, but they found out from the booth that the guys upstairs wanted the review. I read a few days ago that the booth guys review every play and take a T.O. when something is close. Most reviews are done by the booth, not the coaches asking for one.

I like the gist of Leach's attitude. "We're going to try to keep scoring points. I don't care if you run it up on me or not." It's like an attitude where he doesn't care what you do because he'll do the same thing if given a chance.

Leach cares about one team, he has made that abundantly clear. Baylor might be more disappointed because this was"their year to catch everyone by surprise" and they wasted a 14-7 lead on the road.

It's a lot harder to beat teams once you get their attention. You might beat them if they're fighting apathy, but when they really practice for you it gets a lot harder to win. I'm sure C.J. helped motivate a few people this year!:D

only person who can beat cj would be cj, but if this happens existance unravles.
