Carter 28 Arlington Sam Houston 25
This was really deja vu! Last year Carter struggled to beat Houston. After the two scrimmages, I thought the defense looked to have improved, but last night it seemed like it reverted back to the ways of last year. If we don't play better next week, Kimball is going to take us out. They are going to be playing with a world of confidence after beating Houston Sterling 56-0. And Plus they haven't beat Carter in 3 years.
Our offense will be alright. They can pretty much run at will. They had some dropped passes (3 or 4) that would've been 6 points. I'm just glad to see them passing more.
Last year, I thought that Houston was a much improved team and they only ended up winning 1 or 2 games. However, they played many of their opponents pretty closely, this year won't be any different. They make very good adjustments on offense.
If they tighten up their D, they will be a contender in their tough district.
