Stags vs Woodz

Next week we travel to play the Woodz and I hope they have game. Stags really looked good Friday night very balanced and tough. This team is for real.

I think that is the week after next! We have a much needed week to prepare our QB's! Regardless, if we looked like we did yesterday we are in for a LONG NIGHT on our home field!

Stangs don't get The Woods for two more weeks. North Shore's focus will be on Hastings this week.

Speaking of which how is hasting i mean they have never really been a pushover they always have some really good athletes. But howevere it has seemed that there program has been on a landslide lately. Im sure Ns will win especially cause its at home and i cant remember the last time they lost at home but i was just wondering. I didnt go to the game this week cause i had some stuff to do but i herd that they were very dominant. That yes elsik messed up but that they just overpowered . Like i told everyone at the beginning of the season aymond said that this is one of the best offenses that ns has ever had if not the best. And he said that its up to the D if we win a state championship or not.

My mistake I looked at the schedule wrong. Hastings lost this week to Hightower looks like there wasn't much defense on either side.

We need this week to either find a QB, or do something to our O-Line so we can give him 5 extra minutes to throw!!

Im sure Ns will win especially cause its at home and i cant remember the last time they lost at home but i was just wondering.


They have not lost at home since moving into "The Big House"(GPISD Stadium). And yes Hastings does always seem to have one of two good athletes on their team. Though we all know it takes more than one or two good athletes to stop a team like a North Shore. Like Elsik they'll hang with us for half a quarter or so and then Aymond will put the pedal to the metal and go off and leave them in the dust. And Duke I trust your team will be more than ready for us. After all I knoe it will be a big moral boost if you guys can somehow figure us out and beat us on your turf.

Let's not get carry away with the Woods game yet. Let's take care of Hastings first. Hey - these guys scored some points. I don't know anything about them - who they have - what kind of offense they run or anything.

But I do now North Shore - and from that game on Friday - all they have to do is keep their mind on the game and keep from making mistakes. Yes - it is that simpe for NS.

They showed flashes of 03 and the quarterback play (1st, 2nd and 3rd string) was very good.

By the way can anyone comment on why NS does not have the players name on the jerseys anymore.

north shore doesn't put the names on the away jerseys they only have the names on the home jerseys

Wow, Duke, settle down. I would be extremely worried if it was an unranked underdog that played on Sat. You got a whole season to go and the Woodz coaching staff is good enough to make adjustments. Plus your non-district games are not going to make or break the Highlander season. We got our butts seriously kicked by Lufkin in '03 (1st game of season) and still steamrolled through the playoffs.

The Woods game will always be a good test for Shore any time they play. Records won't matter due to the rivalry but I think Shore will be ready as usual. It will be a good game and I'm ready. They have to get past Hastings first.

I am not worried about who we played! The fact of the matter is neither of them can throw a SPIRAL!!!!!!!!!! Did you see any of those passes? Looked like they were throwing punts! Wouldn't have mattered who they played my friend!! We were not prepared!! Secondary looked BAD!! We need this bye week to practice!
