It is most likely going to be...

Cedar Hill
Bowie
Martin
Desoto

in that order.

I think it will come down to the last week of the season. C.H and Bowie are in Martin, Desoto, and Arlington High will fight for the last 2 spots. imo

Bowie clinches a playoff spot if:

1. They win either of their last 2 games

OR

2. Martin or Duncanville lose either of their last 2 games

Arlington can tie Bowie in the standings, but Bowie has the tie breaker.

Personally I believe that Bowie will beat Duncanville and clinch their spot.... then it is a matter of whether they go div 1 or div 2. If Martin wins one of their games left (vs Cedar Hill and vs Lamar) and Desoto loses both of its last 2 games (vs Sam Houston and vs Bowie), and Arlington wins it's last 2 games (vs Lamar and vs Sam Houston),,,, then Bowie would get to go to the much more desirable DIV 2 bracket. This would be because of Martin holding tie-breaker over Desoto on head to head.

However, Desoto holds tie breaker over Arlington. So if Martin, Arlington, and Desoto are tied, and with each having a victory over 1 team they are tied with, it would go by pts differential. You can earn up to 21 pts on differential per district game -- so here is the standings....

1.Desoto +53 (+21 over Lamar, +21 over Duncanville, +11 over Arlington)
2.Martin +36 (+21 over Sam Houston, +7 over Desoto, +8 over Duncanville)
3. Arlington +34 (+20 over Martin, +14 over Duncanville)

So clearly, Desoto appears to be the team in least amount of danger to miss the playoffs out of these 3. Duncanville and Lamar can still make the playoffs, but they both need a lot of help -- and their pts differential is significant. Sam Houston has been eliminated but can still affect the outcome of the district race.
