Anyone have any predictions for tonights 8pm game at SMU.
I think this game will be pretty close like it has been in passed years. Highland Park wont have their starting QB but they have a great OL to help out the backup. Denton Ryan has an injured WR from the scrimmage, and we still dont know who will be starting QB and how well they will do.

When is DR going to determine who their qb is? I would have to say just for that reason they will loose. It should be a pretty good game though, but i am going to have to say HP will win.

They will pick right before the game....i read that in the paper yesterday..... i think it might be so the other team doesnt know who will be starting....dont know if it really matters....
i have a feeling that both will get playing time.....i dont think they are sure which one they want as the starter

Yeah having great football athletes have nothing to do with winning?? It is a combo of all of the above!! So if you put a bunch of special ed guys out there it will not matter because only coaching and execution wins ball games?? You need quality players to execute!!

You're exaggerating my statements an awful bit aren't you. Great athlete's are an asset, but at the high school level it can be beaten consistently by execution and coaching. All I'm saying is, neither of these teams is Dallas Carter or DeSoto. Execution is the name of the game, or you wouldn't have so many teams with less than a handful of D-1 athlete's competing at the highest level.

Ok i understand!! But how you said the statement made it almost sound like talent does not matter.
