As most of u can see I am new POSTING to this board, that doesnt mean i havent been on here reading things though. I havent been paying to much attention to the brackets so my question to u guys is what would it take to get another Lufkin-Westfield match-up or Nshore-Westfield match?
I def. would love to see Westfield and lufkin. I still have a personal bitter taste in my mouth from the playoffs in 02. Yall Lufkin people have been breezing through North Houston way too easy! Im wondering when these 2 teams could cross paths again, so that streak can end. Westfield is the real power of North-Houston...mayb houston period over the last few years....well of course Northshore is there 2 but...they know whats up!!
I, like you don't know much about the brackets either but if both teams end up in the same division bracket all that has to be done for what you ask ,is for those teams to continue to win and I guarntee a game.

I'd like to see a pre-district game with either school - or maybe both. The '01 OT win over WF was a nailbiter to the max. We miss an extra point to not win it in regulation, but, then take it in OT - it was wild.

The only way that you will see a NS vs WF matchup this year is at State. On the other hand the only way you will see a WF vs LP game is while your asleep.
North Shore will go Divison 1 this year.
Lufkin will go division 2 this year.
Westfield will probably go Division 1 this year, but they are in Region 2 not Region 3 this year.
The winner of region 1 & 2 will play in the state simifinals and and 3 & 4 will do the same. The winner out of both games will play at state.
There is no Division 1 vs Division 2 game.

It would take both teams getting to the Division 1 title game for North Shore, but Westfield could play you in the D1 Quarterfinals.
North Shore and Westfield are locks to go D1. Lufkin needs help:
Both Conroe Oak Ridge and The Woodlands College Park would need to make the playoffs for Lufkin to go D1.
