Mac wins!!!!!!!! Mac wins!!!!!!!!!!

Not a very pretty game offensively but Mac won this game on D. Clark pretty much stays with the run and Mac was able to keep them in check most of the game. Clark did have one good drive in the first half to take a 13-7 lead but after that, Mac held them in check. Clarks first TD came on a Udell INT returned for a TD.

Mac's offense was absolutely HORRIBLE in the first quarter and a half. They decided to go 4 and 5 wide all night long and it just wasn't pretty. QB's struggled most of the first half. Udell seems to be and I say seems to be locked into Richards and Richards only. The backup QB, Schmidt did a better job of at least trying to find a different WR.

Jonathan Craig had a nice game but if he could run more north and south and stop trying to cut everything back across the field he would be more effective.

Richards had one highlight catch that was for a TD. He went up for the catch inthe right corner of the endzone and was hit as he tried to catch it, spun in the air still tipping it, he hit the ground, tip it again, rolled over and caught it before it hit the ground. ESPN top 10 high light. :)

Overall both teams played very hard with Mac making a few more plays offensively and defensively to win.

You forgot to mention that Clark virtually handed the game over to them with their 6(?) turnovers.....

I think the defense has a lot to do with the turn overs. Only one was a miss handled snap. Give some credit where it's do. You said all month that Clark was going to beat Mac and now you have excusses and don't give credit where it's do.

That's too bad. Mac out played them from the 2nd quarter on.

Yes, well, if they didnt turn it over so many times, they wouldn't have lost.

If they are the real deal, then I may give them credit. But it's nice and convenient how they play a 4A school....

If Coppell played a 4A school I wouldnt be ranting about how good they looked tonight, but they looked amazing...wow...

I remember losing to 4A denton ryan on homecoming in the 2003 season, that was depressing

Who did Coppell play? 4a or 5a...I really didn't understand the first part.

Mac beat Clark....a 5A school. Redskins must be talking about our 3rd game against Boerne.

Congrats to the MAC .Way to start off the season.Alot of times when your defense plays like that in the first game to hold on to a win,it pumps up the offense to get it going.Hope you can keep it going,last year ya`ll were in so many close games,maybe this year you take some of those,and get some steam built up.Be cool for Mac to make the play offs.You guys played SV close last year.

Boerne lost to some school i have never heard of last night,unless it was a wrong score.

Boerne lost to Wilforth Fellowship 42-24. Some sites have WF in the top 15 or so. It's not a huge surprise but Boerne was picked high in 4A.

It'll be interesting to see Mac play Taft next week...
