GAME OF THE WEEK

Irving Nimitz 21, LD Bell 20 - If Bell wins, they get the 4th playoff spot, if Nimitz wins, whoever wins between them and MacArthur gets the 4th playoff spot. Huge playoff implications here. I think Nimitz will come out more fired up this time. Bell seemed cocky last Friday, I think they will walk in thinking they will steamroll over Nimitz like they did with GP but that won't be the case. Nimitz will have more determination to pull out the win.

South Grand Prairie 35, Irving MacArthur 11 - Mac has a one man offense, and we are fine with that. One person shouldn't be too hard to contain. Mac's defense is pretty weak, so how many points we score will depend on when we pull out our starters.

Euless Trinity 56, Grand Prairie 10 - Not as bad as a spanking then last year, but it should be bad enough for Trinity to comfortably pull their starters at halftime. 42-3 at half.

Dallas Jesuit 31, Irving 21 - I think Irving will get desperate just trying to win a game and make this one closer than it should be.

Week 7: 4-0
Week 6: 3-1
Week 5: 2-2
Week 4: 3-1

Overall: 12-4

in the last 20 years SGP is 112-98 (a pathetic 53% win/loss ratio)....Carroll is 222-41 (85% win/loss ratio) lol peace

SGP may pull the starters no wanting to risk injury and the game may be closer than the predictions if they do.

don't count on us scoring a whole bunch tonight. Coach Lineweaver will be experimenting big time. Also, it is homecoming; and I'm sure Coach will give everyone some playing time. But then again.......who knows.........Grand Prairie could pull a magic rabbit, and do something? It should be a fun game to watch.

dont ever put me in the same boat with starmanDX thats offensive and yes i did go to colleyville and i loved it there sure we never have had the W-L record of many schools(over the years) but we are always a contender for a win every friday and we dont get enough credit for it. i think 7-5a is just as comparable to 5-5a this year and the comments that starmanDX makes are strictly out of stupidity and unfounded facts.

HAHAHA, sorry GP wont give a good game. lol. Trying new things or not, yall did that against IMAC and still held them to 7. GP isnt even as good of an offense as IMAC, so they will be lucky to get 7. My predictions...

ET 38
GP 6

Sorry ive seen GP play this year...and they arent that good at all. Defense is better than it was last year, but nothing to stand up against that massive o-line of ET.

Well IMac provided a good game. SGP 35 IMac 24. SGP fumbled away some opportunities that cost them blowing this out. IMac actually went up 17-14 at one point. SGP scored 21 in a row and then IMac provided a late TD. The IMac QB Brooks? can really kove and fly. He was a one man offense. Gave SGP fits.

Man, we played like we didn't care. A bunch of joking on the sidelines, and just some sloppy play. Yes, we won; and we knew we would. But, I hope this doesn't become a habit. There were so many people on the sidelines.

The only team who gets fired up to play Grand Prairie is SGP. Other teams don't. It's kind of hard. I guarantee that will stop for your team come Week 10 vs. Bell and beyond

Grand Prairie should finish 5th in 7-5a with the Irving schools finishing 6th, 7th, and 8th. With the demographics quickly changing in Irving, it will become difficult to find talented players with a desire to play football. In the future the Irving schools could easily become the doormat for whatever district they play in.

I've seen this kid play. He gives alot of teams fits. He is the offense. Imagine how good he could be if he had some blocking. He would probably have 2000 yards rushing for the season if he were a running back for Euless Trinity.

Thanks!!

HAHAHA!!! YES!! lol. I got that perfectly! the only reason i said 6 and not 7 for GP, was because i thought they would miss an extra point. I saw the score scroll across the bottom of my television on High School Score Board, and was like, WOAH....i predicted that!! lol.
