Abilene Cooper vs. Mansfield Summit

Cooper's 3rd year QB, Chris Hall, is sitting this game out with a slight hip injury. His replacement, Jr. Zach Stewart 6'1 180, has done well, but has made a couple of bad passes. Kinda sloppy for both teams which is to be expected considering how many players both teams have lost.

Yeah both teams were very sloppy on both sides of the ball at times. Both defenses gave up many big plays especially the Summit defense that allowed 4 runs of 30+ yards (all by Jerry Harper) one if which went for 74 yards and a touchdown with 3 seconds left in the game. Cooper put up their first points on a 37 yard fumble return. Overall it was a hard fought game with Summit coming out on top 31-14.
