Will there be a radio broadcast on the net of the Longview game tonight. I can't pick up the station from Lufkin on my radio so I was just wondering if the Radio Station has a link on the web to listen. If so what is the radio station's website? I know it will not be on TSRN.

I had to go through Marshall's website to find this. It is odd that this is a TSRN sports link but for some reason when I went straight to TSRN to begin with I could not find any mention of the Longview vs Marshall game.

RedFishCasting.com will be showing the full game starting an hour after the game. Webcast and all (reason why theirs an hour)

It just costs I think they said 10 dollars but Ill be sure to get it after I get home. I need something to do on Sunday LOL

Yeah I read that on Longview's website. Too bad you have to pay to watch it and then pay a little extra if you want to download it. I would love to watch some of your games but I am not about to pay $9.95 to watch it online. I sure am glad they don't charge that fee for me to watch the Lufkin games online. I paid for it and they were only charging a $1. That's a steal, saving $5, gas, and 110 degree heat. My receipt said $1 anyways.

It could be their year again in 4a Lpfan. They cannot compete with the 5a powers in my opinion. They lost in the 4adiv1a finals last year to Ennis by 1 point and Longview destroyed them last year. This is not a surprise at all!

oh that message that pops up asks you something about accepting something. If that is what you are getting then all you do is click yes. I forgot that popped up when I first clicked on that link. Longview fumbled and Marshall recovered the ball but a penalty gave it back to Longview. Next play Longview fumbles again and Marshall picks it up and takes it to the 20 something yard line. Longview penalized for face mask. Marshall got it 1st and goal at the 7

Game was ok.

After Ivory went out, we seem to let up a lot, but we still moved the ball very very well on the Mavs.

Could've easily been a bigger lead but Ill take it, still a win.

It definately looked like a Week 0 game. Now to see how much we improve and how we get ready for West Monroe.

We better be ready...all indications point to a close game with WM. Most WM fans think this will be a close game anyways. It's hard to say, we don't know alot about them and they don't know alot about us. I'll be there to find out though.

West Monroe is WM. They're always going to be one of Louisiana's top #4 teams. So, they have some talent and they push football really hard at the school so they'll have a solid team.

Sounds like it should be a good game and whoever wins the turnover battle should win the game.

Chris seems to make the difference a lot.

Without Ivory they only have to worry about Freeman and McGee on teh field.

Mark Johnson (20) showed he is gonna be a good one. Hes a sophomore.

We'll see. Passing has got to get better. That clear open TD we had but dropped omg. I wanted to cuss so bad.

If I remember right. Fumbles killed Longview last year in many games and kept other teams in the game. If Longview could learn to hold onto the football they would walk away with alot of games.

Keep in mind I said you fumbled four times, I did not say you turned it over four times. Only one of your fumbles was recovered by Marshall. Two of your fumbles were back to back. The first of the back to back fumbles was really recovered by Marshall but they had a penalty against them that negated the fumble and recovery. The very next play Longview fumbled the ball and Marshall did recover the ball. If you guys hold on to the football and don't cough it up(whether it is from good defensive hard hitting, or poor ball handling) you should be tearing up alot of teams every week. Well Im sure a lot of people forgot just because of how long of delay it was between plays. Atleast 10 minutes argueing with both coaches. Then we run a 30 yard play and boom we fumble it and they fun it back to our 10 and then get a personal foul call.

Im more worried about the passing game and catching the ball than the fumbling.

All four fumbles came in the 2nd half, after playing a half in the heat. Im telling you that heat played such a big factor in this game. I couldnt believe how it was. Not supposed to be that hot. Well I didnt expect it to be.

I watched the Longview game last night and saw West Monroe scrimmage the week before.

A few observations on Longview:

-McGee is very hard to bring down on initial contact, and if the defenders don't wrap up, he (and Ivory) will break the tackle the majority of the time.

-Freeman definitely doesn't look - from initial appearances - that he can throw or run as well as he actually can. He's a good QB that can tuck it under and get good yardage, and he showed very nice touch on the downfield pass last night. I was impressed.

-Longview and West Monroe will need to keep their tempers in check next week. I'm under the impression that Longview/Marshall is a big rivalry, because there was a lot of jawing going on last night, and the refs were good about keeping their flags in the pocket. Several more personal foul/unsportsmanlike conduct penalties could have been assesssed.

-The big TE for Longview is phenomenal! Great hands and can move, too. He's going to be impossible to cover one-on-one.

Nope...only against Lufkin and that b/c of a broken hand Chris Ivory had. Longview didn't have a turnover problem last year...except against LP.

Not a blowout, but Longview isn't afraid to take on a very good team for it's opener like most teams who play a weak team usually from a lower classification. Very good game and it was never really in question.
