sooo i heard alot of people think kingwood can actually play at humble's level?.....I guess we'll see 2 days.........imo Humble destroys them like we do year in and year out

Im sorry i cant take this anymore. Give me your reasoning. Since you started here on this site, you have done nothing but tell us Humble fans that humble sucks... Fine, you have a right to you opinion. But one thing you lack my friend is support for you argument. "they are a fumble away from disaster" ..Ok, Well just to let you know... Kingwood has a fumble problem, Somthing i would worry about going against a team that leads the District in turnovers.

Please Explain your self, because you just look like a kingwood fan thats doing the same thing kingwood always does.. Talk. I want a reason why they are going to win. If you give me a valid reasoning then i am going to be more inclined to take what you say seriously.

Lets talk about mismatches... Do you think that Kingwoods football players are on par with humble's Coaching and athletically?



Now am i stupid enough to say that a victory for kingwood isnt possible?... no im not. Cause i have seen it happen before. But really, provide me with some solid evidence...

312 yards on the ground for an avrg isnt impressive to me.. reseaon being is that against quality opponents, you guys dont even chalk up over 190 yards in a game. (unless its lee, who has a horrible run defense)

If Kingwood loses, are you going to be able to eat crow. I have seen a bunch of guys just like you.. They come the back up thier team leaving no reasoing behind thier "we are better... We are gonna win".. and then when their team loses.. They never come back again... at least not under the same name.

I haven't seen Humble yet this year, but my brother has a child there (and one at Atascocita) and he says Humble is not as good this year as in the last few years.

That being said, Humble is still plenty good enough to put a whoopin' on the Bubble Boys.

But i am from kingwood and seen them play. Have you not listend to the westbrook and lee fans?? The only reason for those loses is because of turnovers. You have still failed to give me any logical reason why Kingwood matches up well, why the running game is good enough to challange thier defense. Yes they avrg 312 yards on the ground a game, but you arent talking about you defense... They allow an avrg of 407 yards a game, and almost all of its on the ground.. not only that but the defense allows an avrg of 30 pts a game. Look, i used to think very highly of the Kingwood program until the Mcdougal or what ever his name is got in thier. He isnt a good coach, and the school should really consider booting him. Thier are a ton of well qualified coaches that would love to get thier hands on kingwoods football program given the sucess of the other sports programs (baseball, Basketball)... Yall got what it takes to be a good rival, but alot of those kids focus on other sports..and your coach just isnt cutting it.

Im friends with alot of those Humble Players parents and older syblings, and i can assure you... From talking to the players them selves... They arent overlooking kingwood.. They know very well what you did against PAM, and they arent about let you lose... I talked to a couple of players and they openly admit, if they dont show up they will get beat.

Yes, Humble offense is not the same this year that it has been in past years... its not as potent or as good because of a lack of passing... We run, because thats what we have right now... A crap load of running backs.. We have a running back at the WR position (#10 jarret malone) one at QB (kenneth Bowman #15) and our starting RB (Reggie brown #22)...We have a very talented Qb, but he is only a sophmore and they want to ease him in and not force him to grow up to fast...(#3 Keith baker, who will prob play against kingwood)

Im not a child, so i dont go around bashing you because you are a kingwood fan.. Cool if you are. Good luck to your team... I do hope they are as good as you say they are.... I want a good game.

Offensively no, the lack of passing takes away from our explosiveness... But defense is prob. one of the better years.. Have a great core of LB's and a good D line.

The last time I was this impressed with Kingwood was 1999. Lee barely pulled out a win that year and sneaked into the playoffs, but Kingwood was very good and bet the fire out of Humble that year and in 2000 as well.

Having a good run defense is totally different from having a good defense against the triple option. The two may be distant cousins of each other, but are barely related. Having a good run defense to stop the Channelviews and Sterlins and Atascocitas is a little bit different than stopping Kingwood. It's more about taking care of your responsibilities each and every play. If just one person is out of position every 4th play, you're looking at having a hard time stopping them.

Channelview had 123 yards rushing against Humble on 16 carries. Not bad, but then when you consider that Sterling held Channelview to negative 60 yards maybe not such a special feat for Humble after all.

I don't think Humble is a bad team. I don't think Kingwood is a bad team. I'd have to just blindly go with a leap of faith to say Humble will beat up on Kingwood. There's just absolutely no evidence to support that. Humble has barely squeezed by worse teams than Kingwood. Point to some evidence I say. I saw Spring against Stratford. Spring stinks this year. Humble's opponents thus far are a combined 9-27. They needed some very good fortune to beat Sterling. They needed a 4th quarter comeback to beat Channelview.

I'm just not sure where all of this confidence is coming from exactly??? Humble is 6-0 and 3-0, which is great no matter how you slice it. But, to sit there and say they have been impressive and like a well-oiled machine, I just don't see it.

IF Kingwood turns the ball over a lot, then yes, Humble could translate that into a blowout. That's a big if though. All things being equal, I think Humble will have all they can handle in this game. I don't root for either team, so it doesn't really matter to me. I just try to look at the situation without bias.

Humble doesn't do much when they have the best talent in the state. Can't very well expect alot when they're only pretty loaded. :D

You never know in a rivalry game. Even if you're undefeated and clearly better on paper, you have to bring it in a rivalry game or you'll lose. And as Panama so shrewdly predicted, Humble's 6-0 record was a bit deceiving.

Humble can learn from this and still be heard from, if they respond in the right way. OR, it can deflate them and they can spiral into a funk. It all depends on the leadership of the team. Best of luck.
