Separation Week In 12-5a!!!

This is a very important week in this district, because playoff spots for certain teams can be earned this week thanks to the 4 team playoff format. JT is sitting good right now and can lay claim to a playoff spot. JT controls their destiny. The LV/REL winner can also too. This is the game of the week in east texas. The next big game is Mesquite/NM because who ever wins this game will go to the playoffs as well. The loser of this game is TROUBLE because going 0-2 in this district might be fatal even with 4 teams going. Have a nice day because the roller coaster is about to get KRUNK!!!

John Tyler is in real good shape to be the first to clinch a spot with a win this week against John Horn. JT should win, but I hesitate a little after that surprise score from last Friday. I don't think any of these games are going to be easy, and this one could be decided late. Longview and Lee will be a war, as will our game. I worry about Mesquite more than any team we face because it's such an intense rivalry for us. I would rather play Mesquite this week than late in the season when Halpin has more experience though. We NEED this one bad, and I hope we can bounce back from a disappointing loss against Longview.
