Clear Lake literally survives with a 15 to 6 victory over Tomball.

Way to many turnovers and Gilmer is definately no Oswald. The stats from this game will show that. Two option teams to watch made for a very slow game. Gino Blow had one long run in the third quarter for about 65 or 70 yards and that was it. He was completely shutdown.

Whole lot of improvement needed for repeat.

Game went down to the last play of the game. Churchill had the ball on the Marshall 10 and had 3 tries but no luck. Very sloppy game by both teams. Churchill had the lead with about 5 min to go and had a big run down to the Marshall one only to have the RB fumble the ball through the endzone. That's when Marshall went 80 yards to score the winning TD with 1:17 left. Churchills last chance came about because the Marshall coach'es IMO made a bad call and try to pouch kick on the KO. Churchill fair caught it and was was also hit illegally to start the drive on the Marshall 45.
Exciting game at the end but both teams very sloopy.

Marshall might have lost their star TE.....Johnny Moore for the season. He went out in the first half and came back with a full leg brace and crutches????

Moody fumbled on his first two touches before he took off...then after thoughs two fumbles it was over he broke tackles left and right...Coppell showed they had depth playing all three QBs through out the game, by far the best two QBs for Coppell were Jr. Kenny Graves, and Sr. Nate Blackwell...

Coppell was down 17-0 at the end of the first then went on 59-7 scoring run...oh man they did everything right, even the back up running backs did well
