Robert Johnson, a former Big 12 newcomer of the year and one of Tech's leading recievers will not be travelling with the team to Colo. Leach isn't saying it is a suspension, but it sounds like one. Maybe this'll fix it:rolleyes:

Apparently missed some meetings and slacked off in practice. Basically Leach said his performance this week didn't warrant him making the travel squad.

I applaud Leach doing that, but the key is for that stuff to work and not backfire. If RoJo deserves it, I can deal with it. I'm tired of this crap, though. They looked horrible playing Mizzou and people want to fart around in practice? I spent good money buying tickets to these games and I drive long distances to watch them. I expect them to at least TRY to win the games and to prepare during the week. That team has had almost nothing but problems since August. Players aren't making grades, they're goofing off, the QB is immature, and they're 4-2 instead of 6-0 like they should be.

I agree that it was a good move for leach to bench him. Hopefully it will snap him and some other members of the team who think they are superstars into reality. I think that this year we had the talent go the whole season with only one loss (Texas) but after what i have seen so far, i have been sorely dissapointed.

He needs to start with the QB.
