If I remember correctly, that was the first game all season that we lined up in the Wing T set - prior to that, we were running that weird shotgun thing.
I wonder if that had anything to do with the outcome - perhaps Carter did not expect us to do that...

We got on em early and stayed on em. Kinda like a game against Longview a few years ago, but going the other way. I remember the security at Sprague, was more that at DFW airport, and they were cooking Bar B que on the visitors side, and that smoke going thru the stands, kept me going back.

BTW - Jeremy Kennedy was hurt and didn't play in the scrimmage, and someone on this board said we had another kid quit. Know anything about this?

Dont know anything about a walk off. See if you can find out please. What is the story on Kennedy?BTW, I am working with the boosters on a bus deal to Ennis. Trying now to see if we have any interest. Cost about $20. Less than Gas! Hope the cost of gas wont hurt our attendance down there.

Owlfan you were wondering about Jeremy.... He can from rusk which is a 3a school in east Texas. He played both ways at O tackle and D tackle and was the teams captain. If you look in dave cambells magazine he is in the players to watch for there district.

Concerning his injury.. it has to do with his leg and he said that he ( as well as marquis frazier) will be back by desoto

maybe initially but after a few plays the change was obvious, but that was bad blocking, sorry tackling, and no adjustments!!
