Ok let hear about the Panthers and College Park for next week. How strong are the College Park team. Both teams are 5-0 right. The panthers need too start getting four qts of football together. Lets hear the predictions for this week.Lufkin,s defense is young but playing well right now, and should get better each week......

College Park is 3-1. They lost to 4A Lamar Consolidated and then had a bye last week.

My prediction is that College Park won't be 6-0 saturday morning.
Lufkin plays them Saturday evening and College Park is 3-1.

College Park are 3-1. I'ts a safe bet that they will be 3-2 after the Lufkin game. I'm just hoping that our boys don't get too badly beat up.

Isn't this College Park's first year of varsity sports? Amazing they have a winning record. Lufkin will be too much for them. Heck, Lufkin is too much for most 5A teams.

Lufkin will just be WAY too much for the College Park Cavaliers. They are doing good for their first year in varsity football, but I think Lufkin will be way too much. I'm not even sure if they will score 10.

THW-College Park will finally experience the speed and size of a real 5A contender.

CP has a big, but slooooow offensive line.

They havnt beat a legitimate team yet... I wouldnt call a 3-1 record amazing

How can you not call a 3-1 record in your first record of varsity amazing.....there are a lot of winless teams out there...what are THERE excuses?

We are actually 15-5A, but I know what you mean. I miss our old East Texas district where EVERYONE was rivals. I miss teams like Lee, JT, Longview, Marshall, and Nacogdoches. Heck, maybe for my senior year (I'm a sophomore), Jacksonville, Whitehouse, Nacogdoches, and Marshall will have enough numbers for the 5-A classification, and we will get our old district back.

The games starts at 6:00 p.m. The game will be played at Buddy Moorehead Conroe ISD Stadium. The stadium is located next to Conroe High School. On I-45, exit Wilson Road (just norrth of SH 105) and go right if coming from Huntsville, left if coming from Houston. The stadium is on the corner of Wilson and Longmire Road. Oh, and watch out where you park.:D

Thanks.... I remember that dump from my days at LHS. Surely it's a new stadium, just near the same location.

The stadium is fairly new. It cant be more than 8 or so years old. Much newer than Old Abe. As much as I love watching games there, I really wish that we had the money for a new stadium.

Moorehead is pretty old. It wasn't exactly new when I used to watch my HS play Conroe back in the early 80's.

The new CISD stadium won't be ready till '08.

And then Baylor beats TTU, A&M, OU, and TU. They then go on and beat Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship 55-0. They win big in a bowl game.:D

Conroe Stadium ( Moorhead ) is AT LEAST 35 yrs old --probably older ---it has been upgrade several times though

I just know they got blown out by a 4a team. Not going to be pretty but I do hope yall make the playoffs. I respect your opinions (seem like a good and honest guy) but this game is going to be uuuuuugly and I just hope everybody on both teams stay healthy.

Fair comment. I'm expecting a wide margin of victory too. The 4A team was Lamar Consolidated with the Rodgers brothers. They'll give some of the top 25 teams on this board a game, in my opinion. I wish for all your players and fans to be safe on Saturday.

Maybe they would do better then the rest of the top10 4a that has been beat by 5a teams this year. ;) Nah I am looking forward to the game. I will miss it unfortunately (damn select baseball) but I will have my walkman on. This will make 2 LP games this year I have missed this year and that is a record.

Yeah I know how you feel. I work Fridays and Saturday nights usually, so I'm having to be really imaginative with my work schedule (or about my begging for somebody to cover those nights for me). So far so good. Haven't missed any games so far. The Kingwood game that got cancelled was a real bummer. I used a vacation day and everything.lol
