Okay I know, nobuddy really cares, (saying theres one guy from Jesuit on the board and one guy from Coppell on the board) but I thought I might ask?

who wins?

Coppell Cowboys
vs
DMN #20 Dallas Jesuit
@
Buddy Echols Feild (Aka Cowboys Stadium)

Last year Coppell Lost to Jesuit in the first game in which turned out to be a Story Book year for the Rangers, and the worst Season in over 10 years for the Coppell Cowboys. Jesuit made it a couple rounds deep into the play-offs, as Coppell missed the play offs for the frist time in 5 years. Coppell lost a couple of key players from there offensive and defensive units, including OL/DL Micheal Mongolis, DE Patrick Drew, LBs Jhon Lee and Wesley Cambell (both three year starters). A new up and coming QB for Coppell as they wont actolly have a starter going into week 1.

Yea, they most suck like having the #4 running back in the nation and stuff... Coppell is going to **** (can I say that) Jesuit. Does anyone know who is starting at quarterback for Coppell?

i dont knwo the final score yet but didnt coppell lose to jesuit and having the number 4 RB in the nation (if this is actually true) has to actually be on a good team not a team that didnt make the playoffs last year. im not putting down coppell just assumptions by the previous poster that a team coming off one of their worst seasons will kill jesuit a team that did goto the playoffs last year a round or two deep (i think). jesuit isnt playing north shore of katy (although STRAKE jesuit IS) they are playing coppell.

I am not to sure what you are trying to say but, yes, he is the #4 running back by Rivals.com (Emmanuel Moody). Also if you look at Coppell's district and Jesuit's district you will see why they made the playoffs and Coppell did not. Last years game was with in a touchdown I believe and was mostly lost on two interceptions returned for touchdowns. I do not know the final score yet but this is just my rebuttal. And you cannot go by a kid who says he has never actually seen them play.

ds is like 10k, man, that lil band endzone thing is awesome, field level man, its pretty cool, if your going to throw something, make sure its in a wrapper, and still good to eat, i might be starving :D, i hope we add more seating to DS, make it even louder, imagine if we put seats on the scoreboard side, that be like all surrounded, by loud obxnious fans, thatd be crazy!

alright i gotcha, i was out at Dragon Staidum, and the surface felt real nice and spongyish, it felt good, i did notice one thing though, you know the hash marks, then how they have the yard marks in between them, isnt the yard marks supposed to be centered with the hashmark?

let the cowboys have their fun. they'll get over it in a hurry next week. jesuit-strumming lulls teams into a great sense of false-accomplishment. since cc never got over .500 last year, being there in week 1 is be a big improvement.

No, the yard marks are not supposed to be centered. They are to be on the outside, i think, but it could be on the inside. I am not really sure, i just know they are not centered.

Coppell, big win, but dont get too excited. i would worry about getting through district and making playoffs then winning a meaningless non-district game against SLC. baby steps are the key.

No, not really. Jesuit was ranked #20 and Coppell was unranked, Jesuit-Coppell are also huge rivals. Wanting to take on Southlake? They are if you didn't see the scheduele so your dare is coming ture, idiot. And your comparison is the worst I have ever heard of... Seriously Coppell being UT and Jesuit being UNT, Tulane, or TT. I just laughed. You thought that Coppell would lose and now they didn't, don't be so upset.

Regardless of whether Coppell want to play Southlake or not, they have already scheduled them. I think that it'll be a blowout.

Coppell was obviously the better team in the 2nd half. However, Moody did not have me convinced that he should be No. 4 in the state. 2 fumbles on his first two carries? Unfortunately, I missed the first fumble...sat in line for 20 minutes trying to get into the stadium (was scared that the Coppell people would try to do something strange to me if I walked).

Jesuit did not play well, but they also had a horrible injury toll going into the game, and it got worse as the game progressed.

The final score doesn't really show how close the game was...I left with 6 minutes left, and Jesuit was "only" down by 21. Then they threw an interception deep in their territory, and CHS scored a few plays later. I believe that they also recovered another fumble later and scored again.

Both teams seemed to have trouble holding on to the ball...I lost count of the turnovers by the 2nd quarter, but it must have been at least 4 per team.

I think that it was our ******* seniors who jinxed the game for us. We were up 17-0 after the first, and the seniors start a chant of "Overrated," ignorant of the fact that the Cowboys were unranked (after their performance, there is no way they won't be).

Overall, neither team showed what they were capable of. While it is a little farfetched to think that you can beat Carroll, I expect Coppell to turn around a lot from last year's horror season.

The Rangers looked tenative at times, but should rapidly improve, also gaining players back from injury. The game vs Bishop Lynch should be a cracker.

Congratulations to Coppell...you guys recovered Jesuit's turnovers in better positions. At least the Cowboys were smart enough to fumble within their own 50.

Regardless of fumbles he still had an awesome game which is why he is the #4 player in the state. Look at his OL and then look at his runs. For the most part he creates them which is what makes him good. In the Jesuit game I am sure he could of had 250+ yards if he played the whole game and didn't have two fumbles.

Yeah, remember the pulled moody in the third...Coppell could have kept scoring if we had wanted to...Moody didnt have a good 1st qt...but mind you he did run for 149 yeards on 18 touches and had 4 touchdowns...Jesuit got cocky, and if Coppell/Moody can play like they did in the 2nd 3rd and 4th qt. they can play with any team in Texas...Southlake might be out the queston, but im still hoping just maybe somthing will come of it...I dont think it will be a blow out like it has been the past 3years...im thinking SLC by 21

do you think that the cowboys can stay that close, or the dragons will go easy? i don't see any let up this week. the boys weren't happy with the mistakes and drops and penalties. should see an improved dragon team at cowboy stadium. if your dbs aren't much improved, it'll be a track meet again.

i look for a 50-60 point total for slc and maybe 21 for cc

Neither was Coppell, we made a huge mistakes in the first qt. we have a great team this year, but we made some mental mistakes early on, droped passes, fumbles and so on.. i am thinking SLC by 21
