Trinity doesn't have any wide recievers on their team who had a reception last season, and their scrimmage vs. Carter Friday Night only raised my doubts about their aerial attack. They had one completion to the tight end for about 7 or 8 yards and that was it. They will move the ball running, but a team can run an 8 in the box/9 in the box set all night and get good enough results. Defensivley, Trinity returns 4 starters. Their secondary should be strong as shown vs. Carter, but they allowed many points last season and they need to change. I'm sure the Trojans will find out quickly Friday that DeSoto isn't the scout team.

DeSoto always year in and year out has rich talent. This year is no different. Although I think this team is among the weaker in the past decade, they are still talented enough to win District 7-5A. They have speed, and lots of it, and some size on the Offensive Line.

Until I see Trinity lead me otherwise, I am not taking them on any of their non-district games. Their scrimmage vs. Carter Friday Night was not a pretty sight, and without a proven air attack, DeSoto should have enough to win this one.

I think Trinity wins... they have a great offense a pretty good defense that needs improvement...
DeSoto always has the raw athletes to keep them in any game, so it should be good.

I take Trinity 38-28. It should be high scoring considering the athletes both of these teams have on offense. I havent seen Trinity yet, but my guess is that they are going to be improved defensively this year. Should be a great for both teams to gauge themselves for the year.

Think about one thing bhs06: Trinity is not stupid enough to show their stuff before a game as important as Desoto. Believe me, they have plenty of receivers to do the job. This year should be a great year. they have a scoring machine, and a defense that has the talent to hold teams at bay. As you can easily see, everybody, including 60% of the survey, says that Trinity will win. This game should set up a good season for the team.
