Wow! Here it comes for our football game in Tyler! What is yall predictions for that game since Chaminade Madonna is 3A (I think?).

Hollywood Chaminade is a 2A team (Private School). But dont be fooled by the classification. They're are one of the top #5 overall teams in Florida and would be a very solid Texas 5A team.

I've seen them play and I even went to their scrimmage last week against South Plantation. They have a big O-line, athletic QB, powerful RB #5 with another quick running back #9 and two very athletic Wr in the (6-2/185/4.5) range.

** Tyler Lee not having FS-T. Cuba is going to hurt them some. :(

Their defense is pretty solid. Very athletic secondary with a couple of D-1A players.

I feel that REL is going to win the game but they're going to have to come to play and bring their "A" game.

This game should be very interesting. I think it being a "HOMEGAME" for REL and playing in the Texas "heat" although its at night should help Tyler Lee and give them an edge.

Rose Stadium is very hard for teams to beat Tyler Lee because its so rare for us to lose at Rose Stadium.

I won't be able to go this game.

Supercentex and Texasfrog have the predictions that will most
likely be CLOSER to the actual final.

In fact, both of these teams have an "extreme" amount of offensive
firepower.

It wouldn't surprise me if the final was something like the following:

Tyler Lee 42 Chaminade Madonna 28

The Red Raider offense looked pretty crisp during the full quarter
of last week's scrimmage against Desoto....BOTH via the ground
and through the air.

IF they are clicking....keeping penalties and turnovers to a minimum....
then I can see them putting up some nice numbers throughout the
season.

Conversely....the Lee defense will be a work in progress....they have
some nice speed but don't have the playmakers they were blessed
with last season. They WILL ATTACK...which is a Owens team trademark.

One thing is clear though....they won't be outcoached very often...imo.

I dont know enough about Chaminade to make a very accurate prediction, but I definatly could see it being a high scoring affair. My guess would be something in the 35-17 range, with Lee winning of course. ;)

I'm in Miami. We have a huge storm heading our way and is suppose to hit us here at Broward Country tomorrow (Friday morning). I wonder if this is going to have any affect on the Chaminade team traveling out of Fort Lauderdale. :confused:

Yep...I bet it does... here is the forecast.

Friday...Cloudy with numerous showers and thunderstorms. Strong winds. Locally heavy rainfall possible. Highs in the mid 80s. South winds 55 to 60 mph with gusts to hurricane force possible Decreasing to 35 to 40 mph early in the afternoon. Chance of rain 80 percent.

The Chaminade Madonna team is set to fly out of
the area sometime EARLY on Friday morning...that
was the last I heard....yesterday evening.

I'll see if anything has changed on those plans...sometime
tonight or tommorrow morning.

BTW...It's Tropical Storm Katrina guys.

We'll be driving up from Austin to Tyler to see that one for sure.

Hopefully they can get here safe so Tyler Lee create a hurricane of their own and send them back to Florida with a loss. :D

Chaminade-Madonna seems to me to be like the ECA or John Curtis of Florida...a small private school who can beat all the big schools. Is Chaminade all-boys or coed?

I think Lee will win, but it's hard to judge the score because we know so little about Chaminade.

i am glad that chaminade made it to tyler. unfortunatly i wish they could have made it here friday and been able to enjoy the trip. best of luck to them today, and safe travel home, just dont win the game. ;)
