Has the Jay Mustang football program ever accomplished anything in Texas High School football history?

How many of you fans on this site OUTSIDE of San Antonio know about Jay?

I am curious as to what your opinions are?

Is Jay for real?

Will they beat O'Connor?

Can they beat O'Connor?

Could they beat Smithson Valley or Judson?

they can beat O'connor.........won't pick them against Smithson Valley, Judson and even churchill, madison and roosevelt.

don't get me wrong, they look good, but to grow as a program they need to schedule some good, speedy teams in non-district to improve, seems like they dominate in district, then 1st round get thumped by a 26-5a team.

I wouldn't say they would get thumped because Jay could beat O'Connor and O'Connor is a good team that could beat Churchill and Judson in a close game.

Jay is for real. I believe that they could hang with teams from 26-5A. People underestimate them just because history isn't on their side.

TJ Horny touchdown run on 4th down. Looks like O'Connor will take this one.

Jay is always rated really high, and then does not do well. I dont know what the deal is.

No, they still play great tonight but O'Connor took them and expected them to do that (For me).

They do play well, but there have been times they were ranked in the top 5 in the San Antonio area, and ended up losing games they should have won.

Yes, right but O'Connor is supposed to be a great team in SA.
