Texas now has 3 teams in the national top 25 (still probably not enough respect) as North Shore entered the Sports Illustrated High School Football Power Rankings for the first time this week at number 22.

I see Chaminade is still ranked(#23), after losing to a solid, at best, Ohio school, last week.

Katy and Euless Trinity should be on the list, as well. IMO, of course.

There is also a SouthWest Region rankings with SLC, Lufkin, NS, and SV as the top 4. Katy is 6 and Cedar Hill is "on the bubble" with one or two other Texas teams.

The sad fact is Katy & ET would blow holes open through both Chaminade & St. Eds (Ohio).

Goes to show that national polls are a joke. Also, so everyone knows. I have no doubt at all that Katy & ET would do that.

PS. did you see what Bishop Gorman, Nv lost to a highly rated Missouri team (Rockbridge) like 35-10. Just think, our little Texas 3A smoked the Bishop Gorman and it could of been like 70-14 if they didnt call the dogs off.

correct me if im wrong but in 03 on the SI polls we were ranked lik 13 I THINK.
the point is most of the time they have no idea wat there talking about.
AND I THINK NY TOP 5 TEAM IN THE STATE COULD BEAT #1 HOVER

I agree, its nice to get some love every now and then but its the post season accolades that really mean something to me. Anyone in a top ranking, including this web site's has to prove being worthy of it. We'll see how it stacks up in 7 weeks.

Agreed. Rankings are nice but I'd rather have a state title.

im surprised we havent seen Pearland1 saying we are number one n the country lol. o well he will find this thread n post his opinion on the subject lol
