Man Lufkin, what's up with some of the ex-players ? First it's reported that Reggie McNeal is in the same car with a couple of Bengals that are drunk off their butt. Not sure what happened there.
But, now reports out of San Diego are that ex-Lufkin panther (Kiel) was arrested on drug charges. It was also distrubution amounts so apparently he had a nice amount on him. What's up ???
Ps. I hate to hear this crap. Why a guy has a load of drugs in his car when he is making probably close to a million dollars a year playing football is totally insane !!!!

Two days in a row. Wow...
First Reggie is in HIS 2007 Tahoe with a drunk guy driving who is already on suspension for another DUI.....along with Chris Henry...huh?? Not good Reg.
Now Terrence Kiel decides he wants to be Tony Montana and try his luck with the FREAKIN' DEA!!...the DEA? Are you kidding me man? What the hell are you doing?
I expect any moment to hear that Javorskie robbed a pizza man and has eaten himself into pepperoni and extra cheese enduce stupor.
Good Lord people. Just play football and stop acting like idiots. If you want to switch lives with me I will be more than happy to. You can work 60+ hours a week........and I can go "play" football for a living.

Perfect way to say it. I'd love to have the talent to play ball for a living. Getting paid millions to PLAY. What else do you need?
Ok...Kiel was caught with 2 pints of Cough Syrup. Not a big deal you say? ...well come to Houston...the city of syrup and you will get the idea...the rest of the nation is FINALLY catching on. Here in Houston, having a Styrafoam cup is probable cause to get pulled over...TRUE STORY...I was pulled over on 288 and Airport for speeding(I was guilty)....I had a cup of Ice from Frenchy's and a Sprite Remix in a bottle. To the average person...that's harmless right? WRONG...."Mr Francis can we search your car?" Sure...then the cops pulls out these little paper strips like we used to use in Science class and dips them into my cup and then pours the Sprite onto one. ...He was waiting for the strip to change colors. they were looking for promethazine...or "Lean, Oil, Drank, Texas T" whatever you want to call it. Big Money....pints used to go for like $250 but since all the pharmacy busts and the cops are hip to it....you can get....almost $500 for a pint....so I heard:D Did I REALLY just post this???..lol
But THOSE are the drugs he was caught with.

Here's the link to the SI story. Only two things really upset me about this..
1. He's making $500,000 a year and is having financial problems? I've got a wife and three kids and make considerably less than that and I haven't had a need to sell cough syrup to stay afloat.
2. Lufkin IS NOT a suburb of Houston.

This isn't Kiel's first offense. He was busted with pot back during his days in aggyland.
It's not so much that he was caught with cough syrup, but rather the fact that it was prescription cough syrup and he was shipping cases of it to Texas.
Drug Enforcement Administration officials said Wednesday that Kiel admitted to shipping at least two parcels of prescription cough syrup to Texas. While Kiel did not tell the DEA his motive, the agency in Texas has found widespread abuse of codeine-based cough syrup mixed with soft drinks or drugs and referred to as "lean," said John S. Fernandes, the special agent in charge of the San Diego office.

Even though it is not cocaine or anything like that, it is considered drug trafficking and that will get the big boys on your tail real quick. Bottom line, the DEA doesn't show up at your workplace and read you your rights unless you are in deep crap.

He's lucky he didnt get caught with it IN Texas...like I say, Texas has been aware of it and it's uses for awhile and is MUCH more strict about it.....and if Lufkin is a suburb of Houston....Houston must be the biggest City in America.

The story correctly stated that Lufkin is 120 miles N of Houston and the stuff he was caught with has been abused in Lufkin for a while now. At least 10 years if not more.

It has been a very embarrassing year for former Lufkin players. If we keep it up they are going to call my alma mater Thug High. I do not know what else to say. At least one of the players is only addicted to food.
