SV next years schedule Abilene, Permian

Smithson Valley will be playing these two teams after this year the next two years. The permian game next year will be on TV im glad SV actually gets to out to west texas!

I say Abilene goes with Lubbock and Amarillo and Odessa goes with Midland, San Angelo, and Del Rio.

I really doubt they will do much to districts 2 and 3 -5A.

I think that Amarillo Palo Duro will come up from 4A, so San Angelo Central will return to the Little SWC.

So it'll look something like this:

2-5A: Amarillo, Palo Duro, Tascosa, Lubbock, Coronado, Monterey

3-5A: Abilene, Cooper, Midland, Lee, Odessa, Permian, Central

yeah, i'm guessing his alteration of a quote from red rage put him in the penalty box. can't say his absence has made me grow any fonder of him. if anything it makes me crave more of his absence.

Haha, well, everyone in San Antonio probably knows all about the make up of Reagan but most of us aren't like that (there a few but, theres always at least one rotten apple) And besides...out of 3500 kids, a few is a pretty good proportion.

But like I said...in HIGH SCHOOL ball....I care more about the individual than how he plays, high school is one of the most important times as a young man/woman. It practically tells how he or she is going to grow up as an individual.

I said that they are discussing it. I seriously doubt it happen though as Reagan could easily find an easier opponent. Westlake would agree in a heartbeat, however.

First, as any intelligent fan goes, that "chant" is nothing more than an urban myth--teams that have actually played us and had experience with our fans know better.

Second, we're NOT all rich or even well off. There are some tremendously wealthy people in this district (Michael Dell sends his children to private school), but many of us sacrifice so our children can get the best public education possible in this area.

When we were eliminated by Garland the year they won the state championship, their booster club wrote a letter to our community newspaper complimenting our fans and said they were the best sports they'd encountered that year.

So, stop the trash talk and play some football!

SV played Westlake a couple of times, and I never heard a chant like that. As for the bumper stickers, I too have seen that with my own two eyes. However I can go out and have a bumper sticker made to say anything I want for a few bucks. I have some family that have attened Westlake, and if they are as rich as some assume, they hide it well.. Not everyone is as bad as you are saying there. Every school has the rich, the weird, the trash, the poor, the idiots, the nerds, and good people.

When I moved to centex 8 years ago I quickly realized that Westlake is to Austin as Judson is to San Antonio. Anyone in town not associated with the school put them down as cheaters, rich, white, etc., with the white part being the most accurate and cheaters being by far the least accurate. There have been similar shots at Judson except for the white and rich part. Westlake developed a program with a great coach built on passing the ball in an area and time when it was still somewhat a novelty to high school football.

I work in Austin, though on the east side, and have never seen a Westlake bumper sticker. My guess is that it is kids being stupid. Heck I wanted to put a Simpson's bumper sticker on my car when I was a kid.
