175A Rests This Week

This week is 175A's bye week. Cy Springs is the only district school playing this week, against Klein Forest. Going to be pretty boring this week for us with none of our teams playing. But, they ALL (almost) get a week off for rest and healing to get ready for the district openers. Then it is 7 weeks of straight district play! Can't wait for it to get started for real!

It gives us time to rest our brains too and get our bodies ready for the torture that we must put ourselves through to successfully get through the season and have fun at the same time:D

I'm going to Kilgore to watch Blinn play up there so I still get to watch some football - but Blinn is killing everybody so the game is usually over after the first half and, thus, not too exciting - must be the addition of those Katy boys. I go to watch my son anyway and the added enjoyment of getting to see those Rangerettes (which my H.S. drill team was modeled after back in the 40's).

Im all for the bye week. But i don't know how im going to make it through the week not seeing alot of 17-5a teams in action.
