Here's a great story on Arlington Martin coach Bob Wager, and how he came to Texas. Very interesting.

Southlake scrimmaged Martin the first week. They did the typical 20 plays, 15 plays, 10 plays ... then they played a regular halftime. It was very competitive and then Martin blocks SLC's punt and scores a TD. Their sideline exploded with enthusiasm. You could hear Weger rallying his players. Weger has all the players pumped up (to include their JV who was sitting in the stands) and on the sidelines they break out and go for the 2 point conversion. It was almost like a playoff game atmosphere. Weger has the players believing in themselves. I admire his passion. Unfortunately, they are 0-2 and play in a difficult district with Cedar Hill, Lamar, DeSoto, Duncanville. They play LD Bell Friday and hopefully Weger can lead Martin to victory.
