Wooten now has 876 passing yards on 52-82 accuracy for 9 TDs and 2 ints through 3 games for the Stallions. He's spread his yardage very evenly between four receivers. He took the Region 2 player of the week again this last week because he passed for 21-30 accuracy, 334 yards and 4 TDs. Amazing start for him. An unknown coming into the year.

Way to go Derek! I'm really pleased so far with his performance and the WRs are also playing very well, catching just about everything. We really do have that quick strike capability that will keep us in close games and get us out of trouble. This team has a lot of potential and I can't wait to see them continue to develop. I'm doing my best to remain cautiously optimistic.

We play Irving MacArthur next Friday, which of course features the Region I player of the week QB Ron Brooks. It should be a good one.
